Are angels real? Doctor Simon Jacobs, who has never believed in anything, is about to find out. Three events in the child’s life, what we call “miracles”, mark the beginning of the child’s transition into an angel. The first--an old man--a survivor of the German holocaust, enters the last years of his life alone, still suffering the shadows of his past until he encounters the strange silent child (Adam Jordan) in Boston’s Public Garden.
A second miracle soon follows--a little girl dying from leukemia whose last wish is to swim with dolphins, inexplicably drowns when Adam brings her back to life, and all traces of the disease are gone. The third and most spectacular of all, when Adam’s father suddenly realizes what and who is son is amid an epic traffic accident on the Boston I-95 Freeway.
